My sympathy for the whole family

So sad to hear of Dorothy’s passing. Although I didn’t know her well, I knew her daughter, Barbara, and son-in-law Chris (my brother) and I know how devoted Barb was to her mother and what a gentle soul she was. She will be missed.

I only met Dorothy a couple of times as a young child but I have known her daughter Barbara and her grandchildren Olivia and Christa all my life. I do remember going to the farm with my parents and seeing the animals as a child and she was a lovely lady full of spunk. Barbara always brought over to our house farm fresh eggs and beef from the farm and that was what kept her in my thoughts, since it came from her farm. I wish the family all the best and give my sympathies.

Elizabeth Rydberg (Caroline Campeau's daughter)

My deepest sympathy to the family. A great lady will be missed by many and I will always remember my visits to the farm and her kindness and hospitality! My children were also welcomed in her home and have fond memories of Dorothy and the farm. What a privilege to have known her.

I have many memories of Christmas phone calls from Kamloops, BC to Dorothy in Abercorn as Dorothy was a dear friend of my grandparents Sadie (McKellar) and Bill Hanna. My parents never made it to Abercorn but I'm so glad Lisa and I did a couple of years ago to meet Dorothy in person along with the family. All our best! She was a terrific lady.
