Our heartfelt condolences to the family. We met Joan on one of her trips to Calgary. I can still recall meeting her for the first time; subtlety coiffed from head to toe in elegant attire that graciously framed her in a very statuesque light, with this underlying essence of profound resilience and strength. Needless to say perhaps but this was quite a memorable first impression and one that I will hold to heart . May your memories and recollections of your mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend uplift and carry you today and always.

While I haven't seen Aunt Joan in many years, I have such fond memories as a child visiting her and Uncle Byron and playing with Brenda and her siblings. I always thought she was so beautiful, with that glorious head of hair! It was a terrible blow losing Uncle Byron at such a young age but Aunt Joan soldiered on...such strength. I am sure that I speak for my sisters when I offer our dear cousins our deepest condolences for their loss. She will be remembered always in our hearts. Love to you all.

Sympathies to the Lee Family. Have not seen you in so many years , Roos , Stephen , Melody . Time flies , 91 years to one of Cowansvilles first nurses if i recall well.

My sympathies to the families. I didn’t know her well but she was a very nice lady.

So many fond and happy memories of time spent with your family, Brenda, and the incredible desserts your mom would send back to Montreal with you during our college days. I was always so impressed with how she managed to swing it all: mom/wife/nurse......and look so stylish and poised at the same time. I enjoyed her wit and quick comebacks, something you have built on. Sending love to you all.
