With profound sadness, but abiding gratitude for his life, we announce the sudden death of our beloved Stephen Zakaib on Saturday April 2nd, at home in the company of his wife, Carol. Steve will be lovingly rememberd by his cherisched wife and extended family, by many treasured friends, and by former colleagues and students. Steve was a presence, a person who had a profound impact on people, a man of unflinching integrity, steadfast loyalty, vitality, sparkling and incisive wit and intellect, a person designed for leadership.
