Wendy Martin

1948 - 2023

Exposition

Quand : samedi 9 septembre 2023 14:00

Où : Knowlton Pub, 267 ch. Knowlton, Knowlton, QC J0E 1V0

Wendy Martin (Grenier),75, of Brome Lake passed away after a very short battle, on August 24th, 2023. She suffered a massive stroke and was rushed to the CHUS Fleurimont in Sherbrooke where her daughter kept vigil at her bedside until it was time for her to exit this world for another.

She is predeceased by her partner in life Huzon Grenier.

She has left a void that can never be filled in the lives of her son Jeff Grenier, and daughter

Kellie Grenier ( Steve McGeorge ). She was the best Nanny to her treasured three grand boys Noah and Chase Grimond and Ethan Grenier.

She leaves to mourn her siblings, many nieces and nephews, and other family members. She will be sadly missed by a multitude of friends and her special friend Jim Wilkins.

Wendy worked at the Uniprix in Knowlton for more than 40 years. She was a smiling face, a kind word and problem solver for so many. You could not go to the grocery store with Wendy for something “quick” as she knew EVERYONE. A five minute trip would take longer than that just in aisle 5.

Wendy loved to travel, dance, listen to music and loved the company of others. If she wasn’t at home on a Saturday night you were sure to find her at one of the local establishments enjoying a nice meal and a cold beer. To honour the full life that Wendy lived and loved, a Celebration will be held on September 9th, 2023 from 2-6 pm at the Knowlton Pub.
