Durant sa courte vie, Ernest a traversé de nombreux défis en santé et a fait preuve d’une grande résilience, si bien qu’il est une source d’inspiration pour plusieurs. Toujours enjoué dès que son état le lui permettait, il était particulièrement amateur des blagues de son frère de 7 ans, Oscar. Il savait apprécier la vie en écoutant la musique de son papa, William. Ernest trouvait le moyen de se faire comprendre sans utiliser de mots et rayonnait d’une énergie toute douce, apaisante. Depuis sa naissance, beau temps, mauvais temps, il a su égayer chaque jour de sa maman, Anouk .
La vie d’Ernest a nécessité de nombreuses interventions. Nous tenons à remercier du fond du cœur le personnel du CHUS Fleurimont, particulièrement en pédiatrie. L’aide spécialisée, personnalisée et humaine offerte par les gens du Soutien à domicile de Cowansville a été précieuse pour qu’Ernest vive une vie confortable et intégrée. À preuve, la merveilleuse équipe de l’école de l’Étincelle avait commencé à l’accueillir à la maternelle. En outre, Ernest n’aurait pas pu s’épanouir sans l’appui constant et l’expertise des intervenantes du CRDP et du CRDI. Mention toute spéciale à Caroline, qui a assuré le relais dans l’ensemble des soins et de la réadaptation d’Ernest. Enfin, une pensée spéciale pour tout le personnel de première ligne, de l’ambulance aux soins intensifs, qui lui ont sauvé la vie plus d’une fois.
Ernest laisse également dans le deuil ses grands-parents : Gisèle et Patrick, Sylvie, et René; son oncle Simon et sa tante Dominique (Alexandre), ainsi que ses cousins Paul et Louis.
Ernest sera exposé le jeudi 3 novembre de 19h à 21h au salon funéraire
Vendredi le 4 novembre à compter de 9 h, une célébration de sa vie se tiendra à la chapelle du salon par la suite à 11h.

Ernest Hallé succumbed to breathing difficulties on October 24th, 2022, in Granby, at the age of 5.
In his short life, Ernest faced many health challenges and demonstrated great resilience, and has been an inspiration to many. Always cheerful whenever his condition allowed, he was particularly fond of the jokes of his 7-year-old brother Oscar. He enjoyed life as he listened to the music of his father, William. Ernest did not use words, but he knew how to make himself understood and radiated with gentle, calming energy. Since his birth, rain or shine, he brightened every day for his mother, Anouk.
Ernest’s life required many interventions. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the staff of CHUS Fleurimont, particularly those in pediatrics. The Soutien à domicile people’s expertise and human care was invaluable in helping Ernest live a comfortable and integrated life. Proof of this is Ernest had begun kindergarten with the wonderful team at L’École de l’Étincelle. In addition, Ernest would not have been able to thrive without the savvy support of the rehab professionals at CRDP and CRDI. Special mention to Caroline, who took over every aspect of Ernest’s overall care and rehabilitation when needed. Finally, a special thought for all the front-line staff, from the ambulance to the intensive care unit, who saved Ernest’s life more than once.
Along with his immediate family, Ernest is survived by his grandparents Gisèle and Patrick, Sylvie, and René; his uncle Simon and aunt Dominique (Alexandre) and his cousins Paul and Louis.

On Friday, November 4th from 9am followed by a celebration of his life at the funeral home chapel at 11am.
