It was on a beautiful shinny Sunday, that we had our first remembrance ceremony, held at the Centre de la Nature in Cowansville.
More than 90 members of family members from around Montérégie and Eastern Township were reunite to remember and share a thought for the loved ones who as passes during the year.
Together we all sang, prayed and thanked. Guided by Bénédicte our master of ceremony, we ended this beautiful moment with a symbolic butterfly soaring. Based on an Amerindian legend all were invited to whisper at their butterfly their wishes.
If anyone desires a wish to come true they must first capture a butterfly and whisper that wish to it. Since a butterfly can make no sound, the butterfly can not reveal the wish to anyone but the Great Spirit who hears and sees all.
We hope meeting you at our next ceremony in autumn.
