Georgina Ellen McBride-Durrell
1944 - 2022
Georgina Ellen McBride, fille unique de feu George McBride et de feu Phoebe Jones est décédée suite à un long et courageux combat contre le cancer le jeudi 6 octobre 2022. Elle était l’épouse de feu John Randolph Durrell. Demeurant à Bolton Ouest.
Elle laisse dans le deuil sa fille Stephanie McBride-Durrell, son gendre Matthew Shewchuk, ses petits-enfants, Sawyer, Stella et Saxon ainsi que ses deux précieux chats, Spirit et Anna.
Connue par ses petits-enfants au surnom de GeeGee ou Grandma Butterfly (Grand-Maman Papillon) elle a laissé derrière elle un sentier de papillon.
Son sens de l’humour et son espièglerie général nous manquera grandement. Bon repos, Georgina.
Au lieu de fleurs, des dons à La Banque Alimentaire du Lac Brome (Knowlton, Qc) où aux Premiers Répondant de Knowlton, Qc, seraient appréciés.
Nous aimerions remercier son médecin depuis plusieurs années, la Dre. Désy, le personnel de la Clinique Médical et du CLSC, ainsi que toute l’équipe du Manoir Lac Brome pour leur support et les bons soins prodigués à Georgina.

Georgina Ellen McBride, only child to George McBride and Phoebe Jones, passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, October 6th, 2022. Predeceased by her husband John Randolph Durrell, from West Bolton.
She leaves behind her daughter, Stephanie McBride-Durrell, son-in-law, Matthew Shewchuk and grandchildren, Sawyer, Stella and Saxon and her two beloved cats, Spirit and Anna.
Known to her grandchildren as GeeGee a.k.a Grandma Butterfly, she left a trail of butterflies behind her.
Her sense of humour and general mischievousness will be missed. Rest well, Georgina.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lac Brome Food Bank (Knowlton, Qc) or to the First Responders (Knowlton, Qc) would be appreciated.
We wish to thank Dr. Désy, her doctor for so many years and the staff of the Medical Clinic and CLSC along with everyone at the Manoir Lac Brome for the care and dedication given to Georgina.

Un service funéraire aura lieu au cimetière Hillhouse de Ouest Bolton, samedi le 29 octobre 2022 à 11h.

A graveside service will be held at Hillhouse Cemetery in West Bolton on Saturday, October 29th, 2022 at 11 am.
